Club News
The club wishes to express deepest sympathy to the friends and family of Phil Owen who sadly passed away peacefully on August 10th after a long illness. Phil was one of the founder members of the club. A donation of £50 was made to Douglas Macmillan Hospice along with a signed sympathy card.
Happier news is that Eddie Howell and Stephen Dent won runners up prizes at recent shows confirming again the quality of the cars in our club.
There was no prize for the club stand at the show at Tatton on 19th and 20th August. It was a bit of a washout with some of the tracked vehicles getting bogged down in the mud.
The raffle raised £58 and an additional money was raised when Ray auctioned a one-off CBCCC mug . The winner was Andrew with a bid of £7 from Andrew.
My thanks to Tony Pomelli for the picture of his “ little ones”
